Sunset Moth Teardrops
These earrings are made from the wings of the Chrysiridia Ripheus, more commonly known as the Madagascan Sunset Moth. The Sunset Moth is most known for it’s beautiful flashy rainbow colors. With an iridescent and metallic shine on its wings, the earrings will catch the light and may change colors in different angles. Set in a small classic teardrop mold, the wings of the Madagascan Sunset Moth are shown to their truest potential. The bold colors of the Chrysiridia Ripheus are quite beautiful and unique. The wings are preserved and encased in resin which brings out the vibrant colors and beautiful details. Please note, due to the fact that real butterfly wings are used not all pieces will come out exactly like the picture. Please allow for some variation.
