Resting Cloudless Sulphur Necklace

This necklace is made from the wings of the Phoebis Sennae butterfly, also known as the cloudless sulphur or cloudless giant sulphur. This butterfly is a mid sized butterfly belonging to the family Pieridae. The Cloudless Sulphur is usually bright yellow to golden however, some females are pale yellow or white. Set in a rose gold plated butterfly mold, with sparkling cubic zirconia stones, the soft yellow hues of the cloudless sulphur compliment the rose gold tones of the necklace perfectly. The wings are preserved and encased in resin which brings out the vibrant yellows and extraordinary details. Please note, due to the fact that real butterfly wings are used not all pieces will come out exactly like the picture. Please allow for some variation. The pendant is hung on a standard 15 inch chain with a 1.5 inch extender.
