The Madagascan Sunset Moth Teardrop Necklace

This necklace is made from the wings of the Chrysiridia Ripheus, more commonly known as the Madagascan Sunset Moth. The Sunset Moth is most known for it’s beautiful flashy colors. With an iridescent shine on it’s wings, this necklace catches the light and shines in different angles. Set in a classic teardrop setting, this necklace brings together individuality and timelessness for a truly unique accessory! The bold colors of the Chrysiridia Ripheus are quite beautiful and unique. The wings are preserved and encased in resin which brings out the vibrant colors and beautiful details. Please note, due to the fact that real butterfly wings are used not all pieces will come out exactly like the picture. Please allow for some variation. The pendant is hung on a standard 16" + 2" extender adjustable chain. *Please note, this necklace comes in either rhodium(silver) plating, gold plating, or rose gold plating.
